Press Release:
"We come now to lambchop's next stage, delivering two new albums. These records bear only a passing resemblance to anything which has gone before. Their closest relation – something that the artwork highlights unashamedly – is undeniably their most commercially successful, Nixon, but their last album, Is A Woman, has clearly informed the process.

AW CMON and NO YOU CMON – as Lamchop has named them – are separate albums. They are to be treated as separate entities. The two albums were birthed by the same creative process, however, hence their simultaneous release bound together.

The albums are not dramatically different in style from one another, but the conceptual call and response of the titles is somewhat reflected in the choice of songs across the two. Both albums feature extraordinary string arrangements by Lloyd Barry and played by the Nashville String Machine".
