DVDs separately as : “Great Performances” (IDVD 1057) and “The Sound of Jazz” (IDVD 1058) but have now decided to put them together as a more mid-price double. The individual DVDs have already received tremendous reviews in jazz & national press. Aimed perhaps at a more general buyer, rather than the specific jazz collector, this release will also appeal to buyers motivated by lower price and not concerned about the less jazz-orientated packaging or the relatively brief sleeve notes.
