album 'Greendale'
is out in August, £11.99If you've been following the UK tour of The Magic Band (Mark "Rockette Morton" Boston on bass, Gary "Mantis" Lucas and Denny "Feelers Reebo" Walley on guitars, and John "Drumbo" French on drums, harmonica and vocals) you may be interested in their new album 'Back to the Front' which features newly recorded versions of many Beefheart classics. We've been listening to a promo of the album which ruins to 17 tracks. Read Matt Groening's (who writes the album's sleeve notes) piece in the Guardian about the current tour. Expect to pay £11.99, out in early July. This has caused a stir at SPIN where Joni is held in the highest regard: Joni Mitchell – 'Woman Of Heart And Mind'. Already aired on BBC4, and then released on DVD with 30 minutes extra added on June 30th. "The program, which Joni Mitchell participates in, is the first full-scale film exploring her life and work. to be released in the Hybrid Super Audio CD (SACD) format in August..
