3CD plus full sized book representing the final concerts performed by Tangerine Dream before the sudden death of founder, Edgar Froese in January 2015. The shows took place in Melbourne, Australia during Melbourne Music Week, November 2014.
Tangerine Dream were invited to perform at Melbourne Music Week in Melbourne, Australia in November 2014. The repertoire featured a selection of music from the history of Tangerine Dream, and was the beginning of what was to be known as The Quantum Years, the final phase of Tangerine Dream. These concerts proved to be the final performances featuring founding member Edgar Froese, who passed away suddenly this past January at the age of 70. Today we feature the souvenir package commemorating those shows, with a 3CD set plus a full size book which is totally dedicated to their week touring Australia. Booster VII is also a brand new release concluding that series as well. Finally, we feature two key releases from last year where they celebrated their 40th Anniversary of their first album "Phaedra", as well as the home video release of the film Sorcerer, the William Friedken film that featured a Tangerine Dream musical score that was integral to the film. RIP Edgar Froese.
